Horse Trainer
The
3 Secrets To Know
For Successful Horse Training
Last week I spent several hours filming a fellow horse
trainer for Super Stars of Horse Training. Our
subject was to learn nature of horses. It's one
of those horse trainer secrets for successful horse
training.
While filming, he made a smart statement about horses
and training.
He said, "I'll give you the three secrets to horse
training. Then you can stop watching this video and
start training professionally."
At first, I kinda chuckled. But then I got to thinkin'
about it.
What he said has a lot of truth in it.
Sure, there are techniques for getting the results but
the techniques are a result of knowing these three
secrets.
It's kinda like baking. You know, for instance, to
make bread takes flour, water, yeast, and a few other
incidentals.
If that's all you know, you could make bread - but
you'd have to experiment to get it right. No doubt the
first several attempts would be disastrous.
But you know it'll take flour, water to mix it, yeast
to raise it,...and you'll have bread.
But there are special combinations of wheat, yeast,
flour, baking time, etc. that get the best result.
Those are the techniques.
And my question is...why experiment with trial and
error when you could more easily learn the techniques?
But the techniques matter very little if you don't
know "why" they work.
For instance, we know gasoline makes an engine work.
Gasoline is a liquid, therefore, all liquids will make
the engine work.
Huh?
Of course, that's not true.
How do we know?
Because we "know" gasoline is combustible. Not all
liquids are. In fact, not all combustible liquids will
burn as well as gasoline.
Therefore, we've narrowed down that gasoline is the
fuel for our engines because we know its nature.
Hmmmm....we know it's nature.
There's our first clue of what one of the secrets of
horse training is.
So what are the other secrets? Check out the Jim
Rea video for the full scoop!
